The Care-Call enables people to make outgoing telephone calls or alarm calls, via the Care-Call home unit keypad, Pendant or Pull Cord. It is simple to use and can be operated either by pressing the large illuminated red button on the home unit itself, giving hands-free speech or by using the pendant when the Care-Call home unit is out of reach. In either case the user is provided with peace of mind and reassurance that the call is being processed by both visual and audible indications.

The Care-Call Speech Pendant has an inbuilt microphone and loudspeaker which allows for two way conversation. Pressing the call button will cause the home unit to dial out to your chosen telephone contacts.  Once your call is answered you can have direct communication using the Pendant.  

Care-Call is the only Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) in the world to incorporate a microphone and speaker in the Pendant and Pull Cord units.

The Care-Call home unit automatically interrupts and cancels any outgoing calls made from the home unit once the panic button is pressed.  The Care-Call system is the most technically advanced social alarm system to date and ideal for those who live alone and need to have direct contact to call in cases of emergency.

Portset will supply the standard Base Unit and Pendant for self setup or you can have either a pre-installed system programmed with your message and phone numbers prior to delivery.  An installation service package by an engineer visit to fit and instruct you in the use is subject to location.
